COACHES HANDBOOK FOR 2023
A special thank you to Gary Slavin who originally made this manual available for RMMBHA to post and for coaches to use. Every year this handbook is updated to reflect any changes to our league or official ball hockey rules. The handbook also contains information on providing structure, standardization and usable practical guidelines to assist in a coach's instruction of his/her team.
As always, we ask all coaches and assistant coaches to review this handbook.

COACHES PLANS RESOURCES
In an attempt to support coaches, whether novice or veteran, our experienced tech directors and board executive have compiled several plans/drills that are to be used during team practices. When these plans are consistently implemented, we collectively develop our players and build the competitive ball hockey skills in our players that RMMBHA is notoriously known for.
Each Booklet holds a series of drills that are to be used during team practices. The drills increase in complexity from one booklet to the next.
The Renegades Playbook holds a series of plays in all types of game situations that should be used during games.
If you have questions or need the support of any of the technical directors, please don't hesitate to contact one of them.
FAIR PLAY FOR COACHES
This form must be printed, reviewed and signed by each coach. The form is to be returned to the Director of Coaching for the applicable division.
PLAYOFFS
The playoff schedule will be distributed out to all the teams through the divisional managers and of course we will add all games to the website. The playoff structure will be dependent on the number of teams in each division.
Teams will use Spordle for score keeping. Home teams may be responsible for arranging both the score keeper and time keeper for each playoff game, unless other arrangements are announced by the league executive.
